Artic Kingdom – Life at the Edge
The Insects won an Emmy award for the score to ‘Arctic Kingdom: Life at the Edge’ – a “National Geographic Special” documentary.
Director Lisa Truitt spent a year on the ice-cap making this atmospheric, emotionally charged and visually arresting film. It really is a bit special.
We had a little under 3 weeks to write the score, which was completed and mixed at Ray Colcords studio in Studio City. LA.Cal
The voice-over on the film is by the late James Coburn.

Dinosaur Hunters – National Geographic
We have written music for several National Geographic specials – and Dinosaur Hunters was one of the most memorable.This tells the story of an expedition deep into the Gobi desert in search of dinosaur remains, seeking the answers to the mysterious extinction of the species.
The producers wanted a score which integrated Chinese and Mongolian influences.

Dolphins – The Wild Side
Directed and filmed by Paul Atkins, this was a ground-breaking film – documenting the behavioural psychology of dolphins.
Based in Hawaii, Atkins is a legendary underwater cameraman and film maker,renowned for his shark photography.
We worked with drummer Clive Deamer (Portishead,Radiohead) on this soundtrack to help create a dark, sinister edge as well as excitement and beauty.
